IMMUNE
Kids want to eat everything that is Sweet and Yummy so try giving
them fresh fruit and vegetables.
Sugar is also key in breaking down their immune systems
as well as our own.
It is easier to get sick (cold, runny nose etc...)
when you eat a
lot of sugar. Watch the next time you or your child start to get a runny nose
and think back on what you were eating.
Cutting down on your processed sugar intake is a great way to start
getting and feeling better along with using the oils.

Add "putting on oils"
to your
children's night time routine.
Onguard is great to put onto
their feet at night to
help boost their immune.
Fill a roller bottle with
oil & carrier oil and keep
on hand to easily put
onto their feet before bed.

FLU: Dilute 1 drop of cypress or lemon in an unscented bath gel, and use for a bath.

BURNS (MINOR): Immerse burned skin in cold water for 10 minutes to cool the skin. If the skin is not broken, apply 2 drops of lavender directly on the burned area; if the skin is broken, apply 2 drops of lavender around the burned area. Then put 5 drops of lavender on a cold, dry cloth, and hold it over the area of the burn.

How to get your kids to eat healthier

One way I was able to get my son to eat better foods was through my blender.
He won't eat hardly anything but will drink a smoothy. I blend up almost any kind of fruit and vegetable together and turn it into a yummy smoothey and he drinks it.

DRY SKIN: Dilute 1-2 drops sandalwood in 2 Tablespoons carrier oil, and apply a small amount on location.

It is also a great way to add in his powdered calcium supplement.
He is allergic to milk and although there are better ways to get calcium than milk he is just a picky eater.

CALMING: Lavender - It has so many uses as well as great for kids.
Add lavender to a mister and put in the kids room at night.
It will help calm them and give them a good night sleep.
Add doterra lavender oil to your childs feet or back of their neck.

Serenity is also another one to try.

Vaccinate? No or Yes
Laural Sulfate

Just add a drop or two of oil to a stuffed animal or blanket and they can cuddle up with it and fall easily asleep!
Careful using blankets in a baby crib. Please follow all safety guidelines for stuffed animals, toys and blankets near your baby/toddler when they sleep. Do not use strong oils undiluted on their animal or blanket, like peppermint, eucalyptus or cinnamon as it could burn their eyes or be too strong for them to breathe in.

CHICKEN POX: Add 10 drops of lavender and 10 drops of Roman chamomile to 4 oz. calamine lotion. Mix, and apply twice a day over body.

CONSTIPATION: Dilute 1-2 drops of rosemary, gigner, or orange in 2 Tablespoons carrier oil, and massage on stomach and feet.

CUTS & SCRAPES: Add 5 drops lavender and 5 drops of melaleuca to a small bowl of warm water. Use this water to clean the cut. Then apply 1 drop of lavender to a Band-Aid before using it to cover the wound. Do not apply the lavender directly in the cut, as this will cause it to sting.

Every Day Bumps: Frankincense promotes a healthy inflammatory response so its a great choice. Its my go-to oil when a child comes to me. Learning to roll, crawl and walk can be precarious sometimes!

INSECT BITES: Add 5 drops German chamomile and 5 drops lavender to a small bowl of cold water. Soak a cloth in the water, and then hold the cloth over the insect bite for one minute.

ANTI-ITCH CREAM: Mix 3 Tablespoons unscented lotion with 1 Tablespoon coconut oil with 45 drops of clove essential oil.

Terrashield - helps bug bites (deter and the itch)
Purify, Oregano are also oils that work on bug bites.
