Caring for your SKIN

Essential Oils for your Skin to keep it looking great
and you feeling wonderful.

We need to take care of our skin.

Also, what is applied onto the body absorbes into the body.

There are now so many products to purchase that we are consumed with
them all. Many products have so many ingredients in them that we don't even
know what many are nor take the time to read them before we purchase the
latest item that comes out. Wanting to use Essential Oils to help
you and your family is awesome well recommended but also trying to make sure
what other things you are using aren't harming you along your way.

SUNBURN
To make your own sunscreen: Add 60 drops each of lavender and helichrysum essential oils to a 2 ounce glass spray bottle. Fill the remainder of the bottle with fractionated coconut oil. Spray on and use as you would a store bought sunscreen.

To heal from a sunburn: Add 20 drops each of lavender (soothing and healing) and peppermint (cooling) to a 2 ounce glass spray bottle. Fill the remainder with either water or fractionated coconut oil. Shake and apply as soon as possible to the sunburned area. Repeat every 2 hours 4 to 6 times.

Continue with a blend of 1 ounce fractionated coconut oil and 20 drops each of lavender and frankincense sprayed or applied directly 2 to 4 times daily. If any blistering occurs, add 20 drops of melaleuca to the mixture to prevent any infection from open sores.

Eczema or Dry Skin Patches
Try using a mixture of Melaleucca, Frankincense and Lavender (equal parts in coconut oil)

Sodium Laurel Sulfate

Have you read your shampoo, soap and lotion ingredients and ever found the ingredient
Sodium Laurel Sulfate listed? Do you know what that is? According to snoops it is safe,
but after looking into it more no NOT everything snoops says is 100% true.

One of the main issues SLS is that it clogs the receptor sites in your body which then throws off the bodies production &/or absorption process of whichever receptor site is affected. When the receptor sites are compromised then over time that causes more issues because are body systems don’t function the way they need to which lead to more serious conditions such as chronic diseases & in some cases cancer.
One place is on your lower back. When you wash the soap runs down your back.
Over time yes this could cause you problems. Many don't think about this nor are even
aware of this and I hope to get people thinking about what all goes onto and then into their bodies.

My mix crumbled to easy I think I did a little too much baking soda.
